Diane came to Millinery after a lifetime love of arts, design and sewing. She took a four year diploma course in Millinery at Melbournes Kangan Batman Tafe, under the tutelage of some of Melbournes top Milliners, and found a passion for designing and creating her own hats. Lucky enough to be offered work experience and then paid work with Serena Lindeman and also Sue Drerup of The Essential Hat in Prahran, Diane honed her skills further in blocking and traditional Millinery techniques. Now based in the North-East suburbs of Melbourne, Diane creates bespoke and ready to wear millinery using traditional Millinery methods and the finest materials available, both modern and vintage.
